D.A.D.S was originally set up by Andy Aldred to offer support for parents and carers that are responsible for children with disabilities and special needs.

D.A.D.S promotes the social inclusion of children with disabilities and behaviors that challenge and their families who as a result feel socially excluded from society or parts of society in particular by:
1) Providing workshops, forums, advocacy and general support.
2) Raising public awareness of the issues and challenges facing disabled children and their families both in general terms and in relation to their social exclusion and changing perceptions.

D.A.D.S charity shop offers a variety of household goods and toiletries for sale, as well as a rang of garden furniture and other items.
D.A.D.S provides an advice and suport centre for families that have children with disabilities, as well as organised trips and events to help build awareness.
Trips, events, and courses are open to the whole community and designed to make a difference by building awareness.
D.A.D.S also have a range of other services to offer members of the local community, such as house clearances, house removals, commercial and domestic cleaning, landscape gardening and much more.
